Wiper Party Leader His Excellency Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has officially announced his candidature for the 2027 presidential election, vowing to restore hope, integrity, and economic stability to what he described as a “wounded and betrayed nation.”

Speaking before thousands of jubilant delegates at Uhuru Park during the Wiper Patriotic Front National Delegates Conference, Dr. Musyoka accepted his nomination “with humility and gratitude,” pledging total dedication to the cause of national renewal.

“With every effort of body, mind, and spirit, I will lead this movement to victory and bring back dignity and confidence to the Republic of Kenya,” he declared to a roaring crowd.

Dr. Musyoka began his address with deep gratitude to God, his family, and the people of Kenya for their unwavering support. He recognized the presence of prominent leaders including Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Hon. Martha Karua, Hon. Eugene Wamalwa, and Speaker Emeritus Justin Muturi, describing them as “valued compatriots in the struggle for justice and good governance.”

The former Vice President painted a grim picture of Kenya’s current economic and social situation, accusing the government of overtaxation, neglect of essential services, and entrenched corruption.

“Kenyans pay taxes for services they never receive. Their hard work sustains a privileged few who thrive on state patronage,” he said.

He lamented the struggles of young people, calling them “the most valuable yet neglected resource.” Dr. Musyoka decried the sight of graduates forced to sell goods on the streets while unqualified loyalists occupy public offices. He also condemned the declining state of healthcare and education, describing the Social Health Insurance Fund as “a monumental threat to public welfare.”

Dr. Musyoka unveiled his vision for a Patriotic Administration that would prioritize industrial revival, youth empowerment, and institutional integrity. He pledged to build a 24-hour economy, lower the cost of living, and foster growth in manufacturing, agriculture, education, and innovation.

“We will ensure that professionalism, not political loyalty, determines employment. No child will be denied education because of poverty,” he affirmed.

He promised affordable and quality healthcare, fair compensation for medical workers, and the availability of essential drugs in every hospital. His administration, he said, would also restore dignity to teachers and vocational workers as “nation-builders.”

Turning to foreign affairs, Dr. Musyoka accused the current administration of “reckless diplomacy” and “selling Kenya’s natural resources under the guise of climate initiatives for personal enrichment.” He said Kenya’s once-revered diplomatic standing had “collapsed under careless leadership.”

He vowed to restore Kenya’s global reputation through principled diplomacy and regional cooperation based on peace, justice, and mutual respect.

In one of the most electrifying moments of the event, Dr. Musyoka urged Kenyans, especially the youth, to register as voters and use their ballots as “instruments of liberation.”

“The time is now to Komboa Kenya and end the Ruto disaster. The time is now, Wantam!” he declared, as the crowd erupted into chants of “KOMBOA KENYA” and “WANTAM.”

He paid tribute to ordinary Kenyans—farmers, traders, and boda boda riders—calling them “the true patriots who keep the nation alive through honest work.”

Dr. Musyoka reaffirmed that both the Wiper Patriotic Front and the broader opposition coalition were ready to take on the challenge of rebuilding the nation.

“From Lamu to Kiambu, from Isiolo to Bungoma, from Wote to Turkana, from Mombasa to Meru—every Kenyan deserves justice, opportunity, and leadership founded on integrity,” he declared.

He closed his address with a message of unity and hope, urging Kenyans to rise above despair and embrace the spirit of renewal.

“May God bless the Wiper Patriotic Front, the Government-in-Waiting, and the Republic of Kenya,” he concluded, as cheers echoed across Uhuru Park.
