Wednesday,12th , Nairobi – Wundanyi and Taveta Constituencies Members of Parliament, Danson Mwashako and John Bwire, have been ranked among the top-performing MPs nationwide, each scoring an impressive 60%. Their performance, marked by significant contributions through the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF), has had a direct and visible impact on their respective communities.
The MPs were recognized for their outstanding service and dedication, placing them in the top 10 performers across the country. The ranking comes as part of a broader effort to evaluate MPs based on their tangible achievements in constituency development and effective utilization of NG-CDF resources.
Wundanyi MP, Danson Mwashako, has been particularly notable for his commitment to improving educational infrastructure in his constituency. Just one year after the launch of a new police headquarters in Wundanyi, Mwashako opened 16 state-of-the-art classrooms, highlighting his focus on both security and education.
Taveta MP, John Bwire, has similarly demonstrated unwavering commitment to his constituency by initiating numerous community-focused projects that have already started to yield positive results. His proactive approach to community development has earned him widespread recognition.

Leading the rankings, Embakasi MP Babu Owino topped the polls with an impressive 72%, while Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro followed closely behind at 71%. These MPs, along with Mwashako and Bwire, are being celebrated for their effective leadership and the visible improvements they’ve brought to their constituencies.
